Balanced Scorecard Eastern Africa is a management consulting firm incorporated in Kenya and specialized in strategy and performance management training and consulting services.

Our strategy and performance management services employ the award-winning Balanced Scorecard Nine Steps to success™ framework. The company is affiliated with the Balanced Scorecard Institute, a strategy Management Group Company, USA, which gives us access to the best available training and consulting resources in integrated strategic planning and performance management system using the world-acclaimed balanced scorecard. Using the tested Nine Steps to Success™ framework, we facilitate organizations in the development of their balanced scorecards; work them through the required change management, automation and implementation of the scorecards. We achieve this through our organized balanced scorecard consulting services, training programs and after-consulting support services.

The company commenced management consulting services in 2008 and has assisted many organizations evaluate/review themselves, develop and implement winning strategies. Our clientele cuts across government corporations, manufacturing, trading, energy, financial services, and health sectors

Peter Ndaa, MBA, CPA
CEO, Balanced Scorecard Eastern Africa

Peter is CEO of Balanced Scorecard Eastern Africa and a Senior Associate with the Balanced Scorecard Institute, Cary, North Carolina, USA. Peter has facilitated the development of scorecards for both public and private organizations. He recently successfully facilitated the development of the Ethiopian health sector scorecard and co-trained about 150 people, at both certificate and professional levels, from the Federal Ministry of Health in Ethiopia, its agencies and regional bureaus. Peter facilitated the cascading of the sector scorecard to the ministry, its medical services directorate and to the St. Paul hospital, the country’s largest teaching and referral hospital. He has also facilitated the development of scorecards and strategy for both public and private sector organizations including the Kenya Red Cross, the National Cereals and Produce Board, East African Portland Cement Company amongst others.

Peter is a former Director of Strategy and Operations at Strathmore Business School where he was responsible for coordinating the development and execution of the strategy of the School and coordinating and supervising of the school's support services functions. He has over 15 years of experience in the areas of business strategy development and implementation, business development, financial management, management information systems and human resource management. Peter has worked in senior positions in various firms, including being the Finance Director of Tiomin Kenya Limited and Business Development Director of Oserian Development Company Ltd. (Oserian Flowers). He holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from Ashridge Business School and is an alumnus of IESE Business School Global Advanced Management Program. Peter is a fully qualified Certified Public Accountant and Certified Public Secretary, and is a member of the Madison Who’s Who Registry of Executives and Professionals.

Lee Kyonze
Director of Technologies, BSEA
Lee is the Director of Technologies at Balanced Scorecard Eastern Africa. He is a Balanced Scorecard Institute trained certificate holder of the Balanced Scorecard. As IT and Operations Manager of Strathmore Business School, Lee took part in facilitating the development and execution of the School’s strategy. He was additionally responsible for successfully starting up and building a new IT and Operations department, developing wide-reaching HR initiatives and implementing various information systems, IT innovations and infrastructural installations. Lee was, prior to this, a Program Manager of Executive Education at Strathmore Business School. He was concomitantly a lecturer of Management Information Systems and Corporate Governance at Strathmore University’s School of Accountancy.

Lee is a merit scholarship award recipient of University of Sydney’s School of Information Technologies on being the top student in the Master’s program with the only High Distinction average and in all units of study from his first semester of studies. He is a Master of Information Technology Management (MITM) degree holder from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) graduate from the University of Nairobi.
 

Kayode Sufianu
Senior Associate

Kayode is a Nigerian based consultant and trainer. He has been Managing Director of Access Bank Plc and SocietyBancaire Nigeria and has consulted for the UK Department for International Development and others.  Kayode is a Balanced Scorecard Institute Senior Associate and the founder and CEO of Rosequeen Consulting, a Lagos, Nigeria based consulting and training firm. He was Managing Director of Access Bank Plc. and Societe Bancaire Nigeria Ltd until April 2004. He also worked with the Central Bank of Nigeria and the then Nal Merchant Bank Plc. He is an expert in structured credit transactions and has led several corporate restructuring exercises and capacity building engagements. Kayode was consultant to the UK Department for International Development (DFID) and the World Bank on Nigerian financial sector review studies and the study of financial integration in Africa.

Kayode holds the Institute’s Balanced Scorecard Master Professional (BSMP) certification and is a M.Sc. Economics graduate of the University of Lagos, a Fellow (FCIB) and Financial Studies Diploma (DipFS) holder, of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, England, an alumnus of the Lagos Business School Advanced Management Programme and a certified business counselor.

Charles Odoch Langoya
Associate

Charles is a Balanced Scorecard Institute/George Washington University Certified Balanced Scorecard Professional, a Strategy Management and Development Supervisor in the office of the Commissioner General at Uganda Revenue Authority and a Strategy Management consultant with Balanced Scorecard Eastern Africa.

Charles is a core team member of the Uganda Revenue Authority balanced scorecard team that facilitated the development of the balanced scorecard at the Authority and trained over 1,800 of the staff at the Authority as part of the cascading process.  

Charles is a Development Economist by profession with a wide range of experience in Financial Management, Activity Based Costing and Budgeting, and Organizational Culture Management. He is an Alumnus of Makerere University, Uganda Management Institute, Public Administration International (UK), and Maastricht School of Management (The Netherlands).
